Former Pro Fencer. Certified Trainer. Advocate for Petites.

April Victoria Whitney has a long history with knowing the power of being just outside the mold. Whitney is a former professional fencer, with dreams of becoming an Olympian. She found a way to reallocate her precision and discipline into a new game, one where being strong, visible, and petite is completely reconceptualized.

Whitney is the founder and head coach of Petite PWR®, a fitness and nutrition platform dedicated to women 5'4" and shorter. She is not starting with a simple brand, she is starting a movement.

A MISSION BASED ON PRECISION

Petite women have long been an outlier in the wellness conversation. Their bodies are misunderstood, their needs left unserved. Whitney found this out. After years of training at an elite level, she found that the health programs she was a part of rarely accounted for the needs of petite bodies.

Whitney created Petite PWR® and focuses on celebrating the needs of petite women. Her focus is equal parts facts and sustainability, emphasizing strength training, metabolic efficiency, realistic nutrition methods, accountability, and understanding the petite body and how it works. The programs represent an intentional retuning of wellness, based on both statistics and the experience of being a petite woman herself.

A COMMON PHILOSOPHY

At Petite Studio, Whitney's mission aligns so much with ours. Like Petite PWR®, we are a brand built for petites, by petites, based on the conviction that representation is not optional, but necessary. In a fashion industry where "petite" means an afterthought or a hem, we're providing a thoughtful alternative: clothing designed to fit smaller frames that are thoughtfully constructed, without compromises.

Whitney's work in wellness parallels our approach to fashion - questioning the default, focusing on proportions, and centering the needs of petites.

STYLE IN PRACTICE

Whitney is embodying her true bold, grounded persona in the Jaque Linen Dress in Red, and the Bridgett Vest in Ivory (a staple to layered looks). Wearing the Jaque linen dress and Bridgett vest in ivory, Whitney channels that authentic energy into pieces that reflect her own intention and awareness. With the soft, natural, and breathable fabrics of linen and cotton, the meaningful styles reflect quiet strength - every piece created to be intentional, proportional and clear. Like her work, they look like no effort at all but are powerful.

We see more than great fitting clothes - we see the power, or proof, that can be created when petite women are considered at every level.

BEYOND FITNESS

Whitney is far more than fitness. She has become a voice for petite women who are often told to shrink. By building community, educating, and engaging in honest conversations, she is working to change the narrative — one that embraces strength, visibility and respect for self — big or small.

At Petite Studio, we are excited to share her story. Her work embodies what petite power looks like — not only in movement, but also in mindset.

Something big is coming! Stay tuned. We have something exciting up our sleeve next week to celebrate strong petites everywhere! Trust us, you won't want to miss it.
